This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electronic hardware products. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining product documentation, evaluating and improving existing hardware designs, developing test protocols, performing worst-case and failure analyses, executing engineering change orders, generating engineering reports, and providing guidance to technicians. What You'll Do: * Design, develop, and implement board level design, simulation, and optimization of front end circuitry, schematics capture, PCB layout and component evaluation. * Create hardware design description and block diagram as required. * Use a combination of logic, experience, analysis and methodologies to make solid, timely decisions and solve problems. Including but not limited to worst case analysis and DFMEAs * Plans and create effective test protocols to verify and validate engineering designs to product requirements * Produce detailed engineering reports * Produce component level test for new and existing products * Design necessary verification firmware routine for peripheral function testes * Process and execute ECNs * Follow established document control procedures * Work with internal and external resources on design optimization * Support advance research * Guide the work of technicians * Other duties and responsibilities as required, Sloan is an equal opportunity employer.
