Certification: CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, GCIA, GCED, GCIH, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) (or equivalent Microsoft enterprise certification) Experience: * Minimum of 8 years of enterprise Windows Server engineering experience. * Experience supporting DoD, Federal, or large enterprise environments. * Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, PowerShell, VMware integration, backup and recovery, and enterprise patch management., * Experience engineering and sustaining Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure supporting Department of the Air Force DCO systems or comparable 24x7 DoD mission environments. * Advanced expertise with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, certificate services, VMware integration, enterprise patch management, backup and recovery, and disaster-recovery planning. * Demonstrated experience automating Windows infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and security compliance using PowerShell, Desired State Configuration, Infrastructure-as-Code, and Checklist-as-Code methodologies. ## Description The Windows Engineer III serves as the senior Windows infrastructure engineer responsible for the design, implementation, administration, sustainment, and modernization of Microsoft Windows Server environments supporting the Department of the Air Force's Defensive Cyberspace Operations Weapon Systems.
