Role We are seeking a BI Data Analyst to join our Thacker Pass team. In this role, you will support Lithium Americas' efforts in building, commissioning, and operating a new sulfuric acid plant and lithium processing facility at Thacker Pass in a safe and effective manner. The BI Data Analyst will serve as a resource to plant operations, responsible for developing and maintaining databases and dashboards related to environmental, safety, production, and quality data. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, technical, and communication skills and the ability to transform data into meaningful insights that drive operational performance. The role is based at our Winnemucca, NV office during construction and will transition to the Thacker Pass site near Orovada, NV during commissioning and operations. The role reports to the Site Engineering Manager. Occasional travel to other LAC offices, project sites, or vendor locations may be required., * Provide leadership of and promote Lithium Nevada's safety-first culture. Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and MSHA regulations as well as Lithium Nevada's site-specific safety program. Perform all engineering activities with a safety-first mindset. Promote and foster employee "stop work" authority. Identify, report and mitigate safety hazards and observations as part of daily activities and safety walks. Champion safety standards and promote communication and accountability within all production areas.
