You will report to the Director of Product Engineering. This is a full-time hybrid opportunity based in San Francisco, CA., * Lead mobile app development end-to-end. You will take full ownership of the mobile development lifecycle, from concept to delivery. This includes shaping technical design, implementing core features, improving performance and stability, and managing release cycles for both iOS and Android. * Build a caregiver-first experience that is intuitive and resilient. You will design and implement user flows that are simple, guided, and forgiving-optimized for non-technical users. You will establish a testing strategy and methodology that reflects how caregivers actually use the app (device variability, intermittent networks, backgrounding, interruptions, accessibility needs). This includes automated testing, regression coverage, monitoring/telemetry, and release quality gates to continuously improve app reliability. * Partner with cross-functional teams to solve real-world problems. You will collaborate with operations, clinical, compliance, product, and design to build solutions that work in real caregiving workflows. You will be a critical voice in articulating technical tradeoffs and helping the team make product decisions that advance our mission. * Raise the bar on mobile engineering excellence. You will set standards for code quality, architecture, observability, and security on mobile. You'll contribute to scalable patterns for feature development, data handling, and API integration, while keeping quality and user trust at the center. ## Related Videos - [Scalable architecture for mobile apps](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/275-scalable-architecture-for-mobile-apps) - [HTTP headers that make your website go faster](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1676-http-headers-that-make-your-website-go-faster) - [Innovating Developer Tools with AI: Insights from GitHub Next](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1268-innovating-developer-tools-with-ai-insights-from-github-next) - [From Doubt to Confidence: How Sentry Uses Verdaccio to Bulletproof SDK Releases](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/739-from-doubt-to-confidence-how-sentry-uses-verdaccio-to-bulletproof-sdk-releases) - [The perfect CI/CD React Native pipeline with Fastlane](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/556-the-perfect-ci-cd-react-native-pipeline-with-fastlane) - [Event based cache invalidation in GraphQL](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/433-event-based-cache-invalidation-in-graphql) ## Related Articles - [A Guide to Choosing the Right Tools for App Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/391-a-guide-to-choosing-the-right-tools-for-app-developers) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Cross Platform Mobile Development Frameworks to Use in 2025](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/404-cross-platform-mobile-development-frameworks-to-use-in-2025) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [The 8 Best Code Testing Tools](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/402-the-8-best-code-testing-tools) - [How Much FAANG Companies Actually Pay Software Engineers in 2025](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/230-how-much-faang-companies-actually-pay-software-engineers-in-2025)
