## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and 10+ years of full-stack web application architecture and development experience (including AWS environments)
 * Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3
 * Expertise with modern frontend frameworks such as React
 * Experience with custom application development, micro-frontends, and modular architectures
 * Experience designing RESTful APIs and cloud-native backend services
 * Strong knowledge of WebGL, Realtime rendering, and visualization frameworks such as D3.js

Bonus Points if You Have:

 * Experience with geospatial or mapping technologies (Google Maps APIs, Open-source mapping tools)
 * Experience with AWS-hosted web applications and cloud deployment strategies
 * Experience using Generative AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude AI, etc.)
 * Knowledge of GenAI prompting best practices and reviewing AI-generated content

## Description

* Lead architecture and design of modern full-stack applications on AWS
 * Define standards for micro-frontends and modular application components
 * Architect frontend and backend solutions using React, TypeScript, and Node.js
 * Develop strategies for real-time rendering, complex visualizations, and data-intensive workflows
 * Implement scalable patterns for processing large datasets using WebGL, D3.js, and related tools
 * Establish API, cloud architecture, performance, and security standards
 * Drive integration approaches across existing application ecosystems
 * Partner with development and UX teams and provide technical guidance
 * Build proof-of-concepts to evaluate emerging frameworks and visualization techniques
