## About the Role

+ Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments.

 + UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments.

 + Cisco, Juniper, Android, Apple iOS.

 + Developing network related programs (e.g., packet level).

 + Expert ability in Unix and/or Windows low-level internals.

Skills & Experience:

 + Strong C programming and Python development experience is required.

 + Experience programming in Assembly, C, C#, C++, Java, Perl or Python

 + Experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments OR minimum one (1) year experience developing UNIX applications using makefiles or comparable build environments.

 + Familiarity with software version control tools (i.e. Subversion, CVS, etc.)

 + Able to debug software and troubleshoot issues.

 + Unix/Linux development experience

 + Subversion experience

 + CNO experience

 + Networking experience

 + Software Analysis/Reverse Engineering experience

 + Embedded systems development experience

 + Understand assembly programming concepts (PowerPC preferred, but x86 accepted)

 + Debugging Windows programs (windbg)

 + Knowledge or proficiency with JavaScript

 + Makefile experience

 + Microservice architecture knowledge

 + RabbitMQ experience / Message exchange knowledge

 + Docker experience

 + Backbone / Marionette experience

General Qualifications:

 + CNO Analyst/Programmer Level 1 requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or similar technical major, and 0-8 years of relevant experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

 + CNO Analyst/Programmer Level 2 requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or similar technical major, and 8-10 years of relevant experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

 + CNO Analyst/Programmer Level 3 requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or similar technical majoror related discipline, and 10+ years of relevant experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

 + An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
