Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required., * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field. * 5-8 years of embedded software or firmware development experience on SoCs or microcontrollers. * Strong foundation in linear algebra, matrix math, trigonometry, geometry, numerical methods, and algorithm implementation. * Experience developing real-time embedded firmware in C/C++. * Familiarity with RTOS such as Zephyr, FreeRTOS, or ThreadX. * Experience developing firmware for embedded processors and peripherals (e.g., SoCs, ARM, RISC, accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers, wireless modules). * Bootloader development and firmware deployment experience. * Experience in test case development, regression testing, and validation. * Familiarity with Git, Jira, and CI/CD workflows.
