What youll be working on: Designing, implementing, and managing security solutions across client environments Supporting security tooling for threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring Partnering with engineering and security teams to embed secure development practices Automating security processes, including SIEM integrations and log ingestion Supporting firewall and network security management across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments Developing security policies, standards, and procedures Conducting infrastructure security assessments using tools and frameworks such as CIS benchmarks Helping clients improve their security posture through proactive security engineering What theyre looking for: Experience in security engineering, cloud security, or platform security Strong understanding of security fundamentals including: Networking Cloud security CI/CD pipelines Infrastructure as Code Virtualisation Experience with SIEM and log management platforms such as: Splunk
Microsoft Sentinel Cribl ELK Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP security services Scripting or automation experience using: Python Bash PowerShell Experience with vulnerability management, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Experience working within a SOC environment or knowledge of AI security/hardening techniques would be advantageous.
