## About the Role

* Minimum requirement of an Associate's degree from an accredited college or technical school and 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education/training.
 * Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, manuals, and technical documents in English.
 * Ability to communicate effectively in English through reports, manuals, and correspondence.
 * Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell automation systems is essential.
 * Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance technicians within the facility.
 * Utilize tools like Multimeters, PCs, and software to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.
 * Collaborate with internal and external resources to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

 * Experience in mechanical systems, hydraulic, and pneumatics is beneficial.
 * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while working collaboratively with team members.

## Description

Job Summary of the Automation & Control Technician: The Electrical Controls Automation Technician will be responsible for the maintenance of the electrical control systems within the facility. This role involves setting up, programming, and maintaining automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Working closely with an automation team, the technician will contribute to developing the technological strategy for the plant and implementing innovative solutions for manufacturing challenges. The goal is to improve processes and ensure smooth daily operations., * Interpret complex electrical schematics and manuals to maintain and troubleshoot advanced equipment.

 * Resolve automation and robotics software issues to optimize processes.
 * Experience with Allen Bradley programming and RS Logix 5000 is required.
 * Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as needed.
 * Address hardware challenges by resolving PLC and touchscreen issues efficiently.
 * Identify and drive automation improvements to enhance processes and reliability.
