## About the Role

The team is open to engineers coming from a variety of software development backgrounds. While experience with HPC, scientific computing, modeling & simulation, or performance optimization is highly desirable, they are also interested in strong software engineers who have the aptitude and interest to grow into the HPC space. The role involves partnering with scientists, engineers, and researchers to help improve application performance, optimize workflows, troubleshoot software issues, and maximize the use of advanced computing resources. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid software engineering foundation who is interested in working on challenging technical problems within a mission-focused HPC environment., * Active TS/SCI with CI or FS Poly

 * Strong software development experience in C, C++, Fortran, Python, or similar languages
 * Linux experience
 * Scripting experience (Bash, Korn shell, Python, etc.)
 * Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
 * Ability to work directly with users and help solve technical challenges

Nice to have, but not required:

 * HPC or scientific computing experience
 * Modeling & simulation
 * GPU programming (CUDA/OpenCL)
 * AI/ML experience
 * Performance tuning and optimization
 * Experience supporting technical users or researchers
