At this level the SME shall have a thorough understanding of the concepts and skills related to their content area(s) and can apply these skills in routine and nonroutine situations. They shall be able to apply tradecraft skills through problem-based exercises culminating in exams. They shall demonstrate solid tradecraft skills and an understanding of how their tradecraft contributes to addressing key intelligence questions. A Mid-Level Imagery Analysis SME is primarily focused on providing support to Fundamental (2000) GEOINT Tradecraft Learning Level courses, with a secondary focus on Intermediate (3000) GEONT Tradecraft Learning Level courses, both levels within the Imagery Analysis and Sensors content area., Education / Knowledge Bachelor's degree in a related field is desired; minimum 5 years of relevant experience is required. Required Experience Minimum 5 years of experience providing expertise in the applicable GEOINT tradecraft, methodology, technology, or related subject matter area. Instructor Readiness Department of Defense (DoD) Basic Instructor Certification is part of the LCAT qualification framework; candidates with classroom or adult-learning delivery experience should be prioritized. Travel Must be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS. Desired Experience · Imagery analysis within an intelligence or military organization. · Identification of targets using multiple imagery sources. · Application of imagery analysis tradecraft, methodology, and technology in problem-based exercises and learning events.
