Our client needs a full time, self-starter who wants the opportunity to come into a small but crucial BI team and make their mark on the company., * You have written and maintained production LookML, including models, Explores, views, derived tables, PDTs, joins, and access controls. * You have owned or helped govern the semantic layer of a BI environment, not just created dashboards from existing Explores. * You have hands-on experience working with Shopify data and understand the ecommerce order lifecycle, including orders, payments, fulfillment, inventory, returns, customers, and discounts. * You have hands-on experience working with NetSuite data as an ERP and financial system of record. * You can reconcile data across Shopify, NetSuite, warehouse or fulfillment systems, tax platforms, and other operational sources. * You can read, troubleshoot, and improve complex transformation SQL. * You have worked in Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse. * You can design and maintain incremental and full-refresh transformation logic across scheduled and event-triggered workflows. * You are comfortable auditing and debugging vendor-managed ETL or ELT pipelines rather than replacing them with undocumented one-off solutions., * You have never worked in an E-Commerce Organization * Your Looker experience has primarily been consuming existing Explores or building dashboards. * You have not written production LookML. * You want a pure architecture or management position without hands-on SQL and debugging. * You prefer fulfilling individual reporting requests over building reusable, governed data models. * You are uncomfortable investigating why two important systems report different numbers., * E-commerce: 2 years (Required) * Looker: 5 years (Required) ## Description This data craftsman/craftswoman will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and governing the semantic layer in LookML; auditing and debugging vendor-managed ETL processes; troubleshooting and improving complex SQL transformations; and maintaining the data structures that move information from Shopify, NetSuite, and other operational systems into Snowflake.
