## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, an engineering discipline, or a technical discipline with 7+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years of experience. Additional relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.\n
 * Active TS/SCI security clearance (in DISS).\n
 * Active CompTIA Security+ certification.\n
 * Active Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.\n
 * Engineering experience supporting DoD communication systems and networks.\n
 * Expertise in the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model, specifically Layers 1 through 4. Knowledge of systems and applications operating at the higher OSI layers is essential to the continued success of HGCC N31 and its supported customers.\n
 * Expertise with Cisco enterprise networking, cryptographic devices, and large scale routing optimization.\n
 * Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Azure Firewalls.\n
 * Experience with SolarWinds, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) with TACACS+, and GEMOne.\n
