## About the Role

This role requires a hands-on senior technical professional with experience supporting enterprise systems in secure or regulated environments.  * Experience with servers, virtualization, storage, endpoint management, databases, messaging, or related platforms
 * Security+ required or equivalent.

Everforth ECS Federal is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support a mission-focused federal IT program in Washington DC.

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $145,000

The Senior Systems Engineer will provide senior-level systems engineering support for enterprise infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization platforms, endpoints, messaging systems, databases, and related technologies. This role supports reliable, secure, and compliant operations across complex federal mission environments.

The Senior Systems Engineer will lead system deployments, patching, performance tuning, high availability planning, lifecycle management, vulnerability remediation, configuration management, and technical documentation. This position will troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, support secure configurations, maintain operational continuity, and help ensure enterprise systems remain resilient, available, and aligned with mission and compliance requirements.
