This position is ideal for an experienced data-focused engineer who can design, build, and support enterprise-level data architecture, backend services, APIs, and data solutions in complex business environments. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, REST API development, relational and non-relational databases, SQL optimization, ETL pipeline design, event-driven architecture, CI/CD workflows, and production support. This role requires someone who can work closely with business and technical teams to understand data needs, build reliable services, and deliver scalable solutions that support enterprise operations., * 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, backend development, or enterprise data application development. * Strong proficiency in Python and Python fundamentals. * Hands-on experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. * Required experience with FastAPI. * Solid experience with relational databases and strong SQL skills. * Ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries. * Working knowledge of non-relational database technologies and their appropriate use cases. * Experience designing and implementing ETL pipelines. * Experience with event-driven architecture and scalable data workflows. * Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as GitHub and Jenkins. * Familiarity with Elastic Stack, including Elasticsearch, Kibana, and APM. * Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently, understand complex systems, and deliver high-quality solutions. * Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
