## Description

The IT Technician Level I must be knowledgeable in software, hardware, networking, and other technical aspects. Acts as a liaison between Housing Works, Xerox and Comserv/BCMone (the outsourced IT companies), and other vendors regarding technology and infrastructure. Provide on-site support for end users to improve business productivity., * Working with the rest of the IT Department to complete projects including but not limited to:

 + Hardware upgrades and replacements
 + Windows refreshes
 + Asset collection and inventorying
 + Cable management and cleanup for server rooms and at end user desks
 * Acting as an escalation point for matters where our managed server provider requires hands-on or local support for troubleshooting
 * Maintaining IT compliance by auditing users for Secure Print capabilities
 * Preparing devices for deployment through a combination of SCCM, Intune, and other MDM software.
 * Working with the rest of the team to ensure devices are assigned and tracked properly
 * Maintaining e-waste inventory and ensuring it is disposed of properly.
 * Maintaining server rooms at all locations and making sure they are clean and receiving proper ventilation
 * Maintaining and updating technical documentation as we make changes to the environment and ensuring that users can refer to these for their benefit.
 * Providing technical support or training to users.
