Responsibilities * Design and develop the information security of modern TCP/IP Linux network systems including security settings, audit mechanisms, compliance mechanisms and infrastructure mechanisms. * Design and develop information security automation of modern computer Linux network systems including security settings, audit mechanisms, compliance mechanisms and infrastructure mechanisms. * Test, troubleshoot, integrate, audit and profile information security mechanisms of Linux computer network systems to meet system requirements. * Document and configuration manage information security mechanisms of modern Linux computer network equipment. * Interact with security and technical personnel in support of information security implementation of modern Linux computer network systems. * Other related functions as assigned., The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length., Employees may be required to report violations of law under Title IX and the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act).
