Preferred Qualifications: * Active security clearance (or eligibility to obtain public trust). * Relevant certifications: CCNP/CCIE, Aruba Certified Design Professional (ACDP), CISSP, or CEH. * Proven history of briefing senior government or corporate leadership on security posture. ## Description We are seeking a high-caliber Network Engineer with a specialized Cyber Security focus to join our technical operations team. This role sits at the intersection of robust infrastructure management and aggressive security posture hardening. The ideal candidate is a technical diplomat capable of translating complex vulnerabilities into actionable remediation plans and presenting those solutions to high-level stakeholders. Core Responsibilities: 1. Network Infrastructure & Operations: * Provide Tier 3/Ops-level troubleshooting for complex LAN/WAN environments. * Manage, configure, and maintain multi-vendor environments with a primary focus on Cisco and Aruba architectures. * Ensure high availability and optimal performance of critical network pathways. 2. Cyber Security Hardening & Compliance: * STIG Management: Lead the interpretation and implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to harden network assets. * Vulnerability Management: Utilize Nessus/Tenable to identify risks; perform Patch Vulnerability Adjudication (PVG) to determine the validity and impact of identified threats. * Government Frameworks: Manage Plan of Action and Milestones (PO&AM) documentation and support Security Control Assessor (SCA) requirements within a government-standard framework. 3.
