KDI is looking for a Senior System Engineer who enjoys taking an outside the box approach to unique problems by bending existing toolsets., * 5+ yrs. as a System Engineer with Windows Server /Active Directory /DFS /DNS /DHCP & current technologies

 * 3+ yrs experience with infrastructure automation , configuration management and scripting tools (bash, powershell, ansible, terraform, chef, puppet, cloud formation)
 * 4+ yrs experience with hypervisor configuration (VMware ESXi)
 * 2+ yrs experience with AWS infrastructure & services
 * 2+ yrs experience with Linux OS
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 * Ability to write and maintain technical documentation

## Description

As a Senior System Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting clients systems infrastructure needs for both on premise and in the cloud. This includes but is not limited to network security, infrastructure design, office build outs, building moves, remote connectivity, virtualization, on premise to cloud migrations, etc. In addition, our Senior System Engineers will provide level 3 support to our Help Desk and Desktop Support teams., * Maintain client's server infrastructure including provisioning , configuration, patch management, updates, backup & restore

 * Monitor client's server infrastructure for uptime
 * Proactively resolve issues
 * Leverage Automation tools to optimize workflows
 * Design and implement custom infrastructure for unique client requirements
 * Troubleshoot common Server/Systems issues
 * Work with business process owners to write and implement policy such as access controls, business continuity plans and backup/retention policies
