## About the Role

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
 * 0-2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration
 * Basic knowledge of Windows Server administration
 * Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals
 * Basic understanding of firewall configuration and network security principles
 * Understanding of or work with an IDP (Identity Provider) like Okta preferred
 * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
 * Good communication and willingness to learn
 * Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar) preferred but not required
 * Ability to travel up to 10%
 * Willingness to work occasional after-hours and participate in on-call rotation

Nice to Have

 * Scripting experience (PowerShell)
 * Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
 * Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)

## Description

We're looking for a motivated Junior Systems Administrator to join our IT team. You'll help maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot our server infrastructure, networks, and end-user systems while learning from senior engineers and growing into more advanced administrative responsibilities., * Monitor system performance, availability, and security across servers and workstations

 * Perform routine maintenance: patching, backups, updates, and user account management
 * Provide first- and second-tier technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
 * Assist in configuring and maintaining Windows servers, Active Directory, firewalls, and network devices
 * Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
 * Support onboarding/offboarding of employee accounts and equipment
 * Escalate complex issues to senior sysadmins and collaborate on resolution
 * Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects
 * Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed
