Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering. * Experience with utility-scale BESS deployments. * Hands-on experience with battery and electrical test equipment. ## Description Senior Solutions Engineer - Systems Integration serves as a technical owner for how BESS subsystems come together electrically and functionally in the field, ensuring safe, reliable, and performant operation across diverse project environments., BESS Product Development & Integration * Lead end-to-end systems engineering for BESS products from requirements definition through deployment and operation. * Develop and maintain system-level requirements, interface control documents (ICDs), specifications, and compliance matrices. * Integrate multiple subsystems including energy storage, PCS, safety, controls, and communications. * Review and approve BESS electrical and controls designs, including schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and integration documentation. * Interpret and apply applicable BESS safety codes and standards (UL, IEC, NFPA, IFC, etc). * Support prototype builds, certification testing, and production transition, ensuring system-level validation and qualification plans are aligned with applicable BESS codes, standards, and project requirements. * Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of BESS integration practices.
