## About the Role

QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS degree in Computer Science, plus five years of application development experience, preferably with Oracle. Experience should encompass external user functions, internal sys services, & file systems structures.Experience with general software development cycles, including requirements specification, modeling, system design, database development,documentation & maintenance. Skill in Unix OS (particularly Sun Solaris) commands, file structures, scripting & security issues. Experience with software configuration management tools desirable. Familiarity with CASE tools & information engineering concepts & techniques, as well as TCP/IP networking environment is highly desirable. Knowledge and experience with Developer/2000 & PL/SQL procedural language. Understanding of Oracle Database structure & usage & webserver concepts. Demonstrated experience with database design, triggers & performance tuning tools and techniques. Understanding of accounting concepts & other
business operations. Ability to work independently & as a productive,self-motivated member of a team to accomplish project goals. Demonstrated ability to deliver quality designs that meet functional specifications. Strong written and oral communication skills.

## Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Senior Application Software Developer's major responsibility is to create function designs and business specifications for reports and programs utilizing the Oracle Integrated Financial Applications suite that will be the foundation for the new Core Financial System for Company. The Developer will collaborate with business analysts to determine required specifications and related enhancements and be responsible for their design and development using industry methodologies and procedures adopted by client. Responsibilities also include building, coding, and testing the outcome of those requirements, as well as monitoring the newly developed code for optimum performance. The incumbent is expected to evaluate technical strategies, select appropriate solutions, establish hardware and software component requirements, configure and integrate project components.
