## About the Role

+ 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.

 + Conceptual understanding of User Interface Design and the Design Process

 + Intermediate to advanced user of Adobe Creative Suite (or other designer tools)

 + Intermediate level of HTML, CSS and Bootstrap

 + Basic JavaScript skills

 + Understanding of Less and Sass

 + Understanding of responsive design and touch interface interaction techniques and be in sync with recent design standards and trends

 + Understanding of the limitations of web and mobile, with approaches/ideas to flex those boundaries. A solid portfolio of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions across multiple interfaces and screen sizes

 + Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Experience:

 + At least 5 years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role

 + Excellent communication and team-oriented skills

 + Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

## Description

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a UI/UX Designer to support the United States Postal Service (USPS) Office of Inspector General (OIG). The UI/UX Designer will craft modern, intuitive designs that make our web tools simple and engaging to use. This role is hybrid with 1 day per week onsite at our Arlington, VA location.
