Soft Skills: * Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. * Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints. * Passion for technology and eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment. ## Description The Senior Release Engineer will monitor and coordinate the build and release cycle for a modern, cloud-based, customer-facing web application used by dealers worldwide. This role partners closely with Scrum Teams, QA, Product, and Business stakeholders to help a fast-moving global team deliver a best-in-class product that improves operational efficiency and reduces total cost of ownership for end users., * Monitor CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth, successful builds, and develop UAT and production release plans. * Coordinate with QA, Infrastructure, Product, and Business stakeholders to resolve build issues, determine the release feature set, and gather release documentation. * Serve in a secondary DevOps capacity, demonstrating competency with AWS services including ECS, EC2, EBS, S3, Glacier, RDS, VPC, Route53, ELB, IAM, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SQS, SES, and Lambda. * Apply proficiency in Python to support release engineering and DevOps tasks. * Work closely with Scrum Masters and the engineering team, leading scrum-of-scrums calls and managing the overall release cadence. Work Environment This is a remote hybrid position based out of either our Peoria, IL or Chicago, IL office, with onsite presence required approximately one day per week (onsite time may increase).
