Ability to form positive relationships with partnering teams, sponsors, and user groups. Nice to Have & Opportunities to Learn: * A proven foundation in core Java and related technologies; experience with Spring Framework or Spring Boot is a plus for cross-functional work with adjacent platform services. * Experience with CMake-based build systems and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar). * Experience with message-oriented streaming middleware (Kafka, AMPS, MQ, or similar). * Familiarity with Perl scripting for test automation and operational tooling. * Expertise in SQL and/or NoSQL technologies (MS SQL, Sybase, Cassandra, or Redis). * Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and cloud deployment tools (Docker, Ansible, Terraform). * Exposure to DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps. * Experience with Prompt Engineering and Agentic AI development patterns. * Experience with optimization, algorithms, or related quantitative processes. ## Description * Trade Posting Engine - Extend and optimize the core trade posting engine in Aladdin, designing and delivering new capabilities that enhance client workflows while continuously tuning for throughput, latency, and scalability. * Position Management - Maintain the performance-sensitive lot disposition and position maintenance framework. * Platform Convergence - Partner with Private Markets, Accounting, and Product teams to help converge Aladdin capabilities, aligning transaction models and workflows as part of BlackRock's broader Whole Portfolio and IBOR strategy. * Operational Tooling - Build and maintain diagnostic utilities and Perl-based operational scripts for reconciliation, position lifecycle processing, and regression testing.
