Im Fokus stehen hierbei systematisches Denken und eine fachübergreifende Kompetenz. Auch Begriffe wie Mikro Controller, Embedded Systems, CAD, CAE, Simulationstechnik, Regelung, Roboter usw. sind aus dem Arbeitsalltag eines Bachelor of Engineering - Fachrichtung Mechatronik - nicht mehr wegzudenken. Fast immer geht es darum, mechanische Komponenten mit elektronischer Hilfe und Software-Unterstützung komfortabel, benutzerfreundlich, effizient oder gar "intelligent" zu gestalten.
