## About the Role

* You have proven experience of setting technical direction and driving innovation.
 * You take ownership of driving a product and taking it to the next level.
 * The team have some agentic workflows set up in Claude, so a background with agentic coding and GenAI would be ideal.
 * Hands on experience with Java (Ideally 25) building APIs and microservices with Spring Boot is essential.

## Description

* This role is hands on and focused on driving technical direction, there are no people leadership responsibilities involved.
 * You will be working on greenfield projects where you can influence and improve the technical health of the product, whilst being trusted to make major technical decisions.
 * This role is available due to internal promotion to Engineering Manager. There is an opportunity for similar progression in the future.
 * Tech Stack - Java 25, Spring boot, React, Postgres & AWS.
