## About the Role

* Experience in a Network Engineer or 3rd line role
 * Hands-on experience with:
 + Cisco (or similar - Juniper / Aruba / HP)
 + Routing & switching
 + Firewalls and VPNs
 * Understanding of network security and modern networking concepts
 * Exposure to project work or a desire to move into a project-focused role

Certifications such as CCNA are beneficial but not essential

## Description

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone looking to move away from BAU support into project delivery, working across modern network technologies and security-focused environments.

What you'll be doing

 * Delivering network projects including implementations, upgrades and migrations
 * Working across routing, switching and network security environments
 * Supporting firewalls, VPNs and connectivity solutions
 * Assisting with network optimisation and performance improvements
 * Troubleshooting issues across client environments
 * Producing technical documentation and following best practices
