They will ensure that equipment is securely configured, fully tested, accurately recorded and ready for use before deployment. This is a hands-on technical role focused on reliable operational delivery., * A minimum of two years' practical experience in an IT hardware build, deployment, desktop support or field-service role, or equivalent demonstrable experience. * Previous experience building, configuring and troubleshooting laptops and desktop computers in a business environment. * Experience managing multiple device builds and working to fixed onboarding or deployment deadlines. Education: * GCSE English and Mathematics at grade 4/C or above, or equivalent competence demonstrated through relevant work experience. Desirable Qualifications: * CompTIA A+, Network+ or an equivalent hardware or technical support qualification. * Microsoft Fundamentals or endpoint-related certification. * ITIL Foundation, apprenticeship, BTEC, NVQ, HNC or equivalent IT qualification. The role covers laptops, desktop computers, tablets, mobile phones, monitors, docking stations, printers, mobile connectivity devices, non-core routers and associated peripherals.
