## About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with a strong electrical maintenance background to support the reliability, performance and continuous improvement of production machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, working a 3-shift rotating pattern., * NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.

 * Proven experience within a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.
 * Experience carrying out both reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
 * Willingness to work a 3-shift rotating pattern.
 * Strong awareness of health and safety best practices.

## Description

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, fault finding, repairs and continuous improvement activities across a range of automated production equipment. You'll play a key role in minimising downtime and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently., * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in accordance with the maintenance schedule.

 * Respond quickly to electrical breakdowns, diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.
 * Fault find on PLC-controlled machinery (diagnostic level).
 * Maintain electrical control panels, motors, drives, sensors, inverters and associated equipment.
 * Perform electrical inspections and ensure compliance with site standards.
 * Support machine installations, upgrades and commissioning activities.
 * Accurately complete maintenance records using the site's CMMS.
 * Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
 * Work closely with production and engineering teams to maximise plant availability.
 * Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures and statutory regulations.
