Associate's degree in a related field. Additional work experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Must be Security+ CE certified. Must have extensive TACLANES experience and training. Hands-on experience in configuration/installation of Cisco/Juniper product line of routers/switches. Strong network debugging and network troubleshooting skills. Working knowledge of DHCP, NMS - Orion NPM/NCM, Cisco ISE, and Wireshark. Strong working knowledge and excellent troubleshooting skills of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols in a VoIP environment. Working knowledge of IP address management, DHCP, Radius, Syslog, and DNS is required. Knowledge of Windows 2016/2019 is a plus. Good understanding of cabling (Fiber/CAT5E etc.). Knowledge of firewalls, proxies, and UPS. Proficient with network hardware and related software. Demonstrate critical thinking skills for problem identification and resolution. Able to create and maintain operational procedures, topology maps using Visio. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong communication skills, customer service skills, and attention to detail. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Able to work outside of normal business hours to support emergency operations or planned projects as needed. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
