Strong Plus * Experience with Azure or another cloud platform. * Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows or similar technologies. * Experience working with geospatial or climate datasets. * Familiarity with scientific Python libraries such as xarray, pandas or Dask. * Exposure to software architecture or distributed systems. * Experience collaborating with scientists, researchers or analytical teams. ## Description * Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines that transform climate science into production-ready datasets and signals. * Develop high-quality Python software to power climate risk products, APIs and customer-facing features. * Work with large geospatial and climate datasets, ensuring they are reliable, validated and ready for use. * Collaborate closely with climate scientists to translate research and methodologies into robust engineering solutions. * Contribute to the full lifecycle of new climate signals, from technical discovery and prototyping through production deployment and operational support. * Improve engineering practices by contributing to testing, automation, documentation and code quality. * Partner with Product and Platform teams to integrate new datasets and capabilities into Mitiga's products., * Purpose-driven impact.
