Ability to clearly articulate the problem statement when requested * Deep technical skills and ability to work across peer groups to resolve technical/design issues * Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, distributed, and resilient cloud-native applications using microservices architecture. * Build and optimize event-driven architectures utilizing technologies like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or cloud-native messaging services for high-throughput communication. * Experience with broader architectural design for application design and development / utilizing DevOps tools and processes for automation * Experience in building REST APIs using Java SpringBoot * Experience in data design and modeling and proficient in SQL queries, Table design and Data Structures. Experience or exposure to several concepts and technologies is desired: * 6+ years Application development using Java EE, Spring or SpringBoot * Experience with A/B testing tools and methodology such as Adobe Target * Use of Content Management System * Knowledge of JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and their use in building complex interactive experiences * Strong REST API development experience using SpringBoot, use of tools like Postman, Sonar Cube, Jenkins and Development Automation ## Description The Engineer will work closely with technical lead, business analysts, and DevOps, helping to craft and develop new products and platforms. Will also help to inform the strategy for building out our UI real estate, including re-usable components and RESTful services. They will help develop and documentation standards and guidelines, upgrade/maintenance strategies and help to mentor more junior team members.
