Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field (or equivalent experience). May substitute 5 years of experience for degree. * Strong experience administering and troubleshooting Linux operating systems. * Hands-on experience with Cisco and Palo Alto networking equipment. * Knowledge of virtualization technologies, virtual machines, IPSec, and VPN tunneling. * Experience developing and implementing automation solutions using Ansible, including writing and maintaining playbooks. * Proficiency in scripting with Bash and/or Python. * Experience supporting STE/STN environments. * Knowledge of Java patching and system maintenance best practices. * Experience with hardware installation, including rack and stack, structured cabling, and infrastructure documentation. * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex system and network issues. * Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Desired/Preferred Skills: * Containerization experience (Dockers / Kubernetes) * Troubleshooting of networking equipment., May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs.
