## Description

As an IT Support Specialist, you'll be a key player in handling the company's daily IT needs, including ongoing maintenance, asset tracking, and training employees on essential IT functions and requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for IT systems and a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment., * Provide first-line technical support to on-site and remote users via phone, email, and in-person interactions.

 * Monitor the daily performance of computer systems, modifying configurations, utilities, and software default settings as necessary for workstations.
 * Deploy new and replacement equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software. Guarantee end-user satisfaction, accuracy, and timely completion.
 * Maintain asset tracking records and collaborate with the IT Manager to develop and manage the equipment replacement schedule.
 * Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
 * Develop training materials and procedures, and train users in the proper use of hardware or software.
 * Stay up-to-date with current desktop and LAN technologies through continuing education, journal reviews, web searches, and formal seminar opportunities.
 * Coordinate network coverage with the IT Manager. Occasional night and/or weekend work may be required.
 * Complete other duties as assigned.
