This role operates within a remote environment and is responsible for supporting legacy mainframe systems and modernization efforts. The position requires experience supporting mainframe applications and working in a government or federal environment., * Maintain VSAM files and associated index support * Support current CARS batch jobs and troubleshoot transfer issues with external partners using SFTP, FTPS, and Connect-Direct * Resolve data issues such as incomplete, missing, or duplicate files * Refactor nightly ETL processes for robustness and error handling * Refactor batch processes into discrete transactions to support real-time updates and modernized APIs * Work with mainframe developers and operators to maintain and enhance CARS and CAROLS systems * Analyze COBOL and JCL to document business rules and refactor code accordingly, We partner with government agencies and large integrators to provide expertise in cybersecurity operations, cloud and infrastructure modernization, data and analytics, and enterprise IT support.
