Experience must include: Oracle Exadata Hardware - Generations X11M/X9M, Oracle Relational Database Software Version 19 and Oracle Golden Gate Microservices Architecture. Oracle Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance 19x, Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Oracle Enterprise Linux 8x, Oracle Exalytics X6, Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c and Oracle Key Vault 21x. Oracle Data Data At-Rest (DARE) encryption and Data In-Motion Encryption (DIME). RDBMS upgrades from version 11x/12x to 19c and above. Architecture design, Capacity and Maintenance of ExaCC and OCI machines. Amazon Redshift Database setup, maintenance and Cloudwatch. ## Description Duties: Lead exploitation of new product features that make a significant impact towards improving the availability or performance of application databases; collaborate with customers to identify data needs including access, protection, quality and maintenance requirements. Recommend database design alternatives, considering benefits and limitations to users based on in-depth understanding of their data needs. Lead the process of creating and maintaining physical data models. Provide expertise to users and application developers regarding database platform and design. Implement complex databases with respect to database tuning, data backup, recovery and security processes/procedures. Lead new database administration processes/best practices that achieve operational excellence. Participate in design reviews, responsible for physical structure of organizational data warehouse. 100% telecommuting position.
