## About the Role

* 8+ years of IT experience supporting the design, development, deployment, and delivery of enterprise technology solutions.
 * Strong experience migrating Oracle databases to AWS using AWS Database Migration Service (AWS DMS).
 * Hands-on experience with Full Load, Change Data Capture (CDC), and real-time streaming architectures.
 * Expertise in AWS infrastructure and networking, including VPCs, Subnets, Security Groups, Routing, VPN, and AWS Direct Connect.
 * Experience with EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).
 * Strong experience with ETL/ELT processes and cloud data integration methodologies.
 * Experience with automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
 * Experience with AWS CloudWatch and AWS CloudTrail for monitoring and logging.
 * Experience developing data migration, cutover, and rollback strategies while minimizing downtime.
 * Experience supporting hybrid cloud/on-premises environments and legacy system modernization.
 * AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Database Specialty certification preferred.
 * Excellent communication skills with experience creating technical designs and migration runbooks.
 * Public Sector/State Government experience is preferred.
