You care about the craft of engineering and the mission it serves., * 6+ years of experience in software engineering * Equivalent practical experience valued equally to a formal degree * Fluency across the stack. Comfortable working in frontend, backend, and infrastructure as the problem demands * Strong understanding of distributed systems, API design (REST, GraphQL, gRPC), and data modeling * Hands-on experience with containerization and cloud infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure) * Comfort operating in a fluid squad model, able to context-switch, ramp fast on new domains, and contribute without needing long warm-up time * Active use of AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate development. We operate in a squad-based model: small, focused teams that form around problems. Engineers move fluidly across squads as priorities shift, so breadth of thinking and the ability to ramp quickly in new domains matter as much as deep specialization. Our platform spans a modern full stack: a React/TypeScript frontend, Node.js backend services, cloud-native infrastructure, and authentication and identity systems. You'll work across these layers, tackling challenges in performance, reliability, scalability, security, and user experience.
