## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering and 10+ years related experience
 * 3+ years of experience with Development Operations (DevOps)
 * 3+ years of experience with scripting programming languages such as Python or similar
 * Experience on deploying CI/CD, DevSecOps, and Automation on-prem infrastructure
 * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps - GitLab, Jenkins, Git Bash, Jira, and Artifactory is a plus
 * Experience in infrastructure as code (Terraform, etc..) and automation tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, etc...)
 * Experience in supporting real time embedded systems is a plus
 * Experience with full SW development life cycle
 * Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

## Description

The Senior DevSecOps Software Engineer is responsible for the following areas:

 * Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for embedded systems
 * Integrate DevSecOps tools to automate security checks and vulnerability assessments within the CI/CD pipeline
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, security, operations, and product teams, to ensure security and automation is embedded in all phases of the application lifecycle
 * Document and maintain CI/CD workflows and Automation
 * Provide training and guidance to teams on CI/CD, DevSecOps, and Automation
 * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD processes, tools, and automation
 * Develop infrastructure to automated unit test, component test, and system verification testing.
 * Foster a continuous improvement culture
 * Generate schedule inputs for cost/schedule, Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
