## About the Role

* 5+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field

 * Hands-on experience in configuration management

 * Experience using Siemens Teamcenter and SAP VC

 * Strong communication and collaboration skills

 * Experience administering or supporting Teamcenter PLM

 * Strong understanding of:

 * Product structures and BOMs

 * Engineering drawings and standards

 * Experience supporting product configuration and variant management

 * Ability to operate as a self-starter in a fast-evolving digital engineering environment

 * Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, automation approaches, and AI-enabled workflows

## Description

DISHER is seeking an experienced Product Development Engineer for our customer in Grand Rapids, MI. This is a 6-18 month contract-to-hire opportunity.

What you will get to do:

 * Plan and implement configuration management and data management processes aligned with company standards, business needs, and industry best practices

 * Serve as a key contributor to Teamcenter as the system of record for:

 * Engineering documents and drawings

 * Product structures and Bills of Material (BOMs)

 * Configuration and revision control

 * PLC Software

 * Simulation and Emulation data
 + Plan, coordinate, and manage engineering documentation including:
 + Drawings
 + Specifications
 + Solution deliverables
 + Change documentation
 + Analyze proposed design or configuration changes to assess impact on:
 + Product structures
 + Downstream manufacturing and installation
 + Customer-specific solutions
