The candidate must demonstrate the ability to successfully analyze and perform technical and process-based problem resolution with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. The candidate must be well versed in Network technologies and display a desire to continuously grow and improve both technical and soft skills. This position is a part of the Operations Service Center, a 7 x 24 x 365 organization, which means the position requires shift work. This position is for 2nd Shift: 4p - 1a; and can include 1 weekend day, per week. Example schedules include Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday. RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned. * Be a part of a 24x7x365 Operations Service Center and be flexible in availability as needed * Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the assigned task(s), functional area(s) or project(s) * Manage your assigned tickets to ensure SLA compliance and customer satisfaction * Deliver customer-focused support through phone calls and ticket-based communications * Troubleshoot network port, HSRP and OSPF configuration issues * Conduct firewall rule changes and understand prefix and access lists * Read and comprehend traceroutes * Monitor alerts on alert board and conduct basic troubleshooting * Create A, C, and MX records using basic knowledge of DNS * Maintain/troubleshoot VPN's and ability to check Phase 1 and Phase 2 * Triage and escalate tickets according to QTS policy * Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades * Administer all network equipment - switches, routers, firewalls, and associated software. ## Related Videos - [How Cisco embraced a DevOps culture within its network engineering team](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/99-how-cisco-embraced-a-devops-culture-within-its-network-engineering-team) - [WeAreDevelopers LIVE - Chrome for Sale?
