This position is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and sustainment of enterprise network and systems infrastructure. The selected candidate will provide technical leadership for network operations, virtualization platforms, storage and backup solutions, systems integration efforts, and infrastructure modernization initiatives while ensuring compliance with security and operational standards., Systems & Network Engineering * Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure supporting voice and data communications. * Supervise, coordinate, and perform installations, upgrades, and modifications to network hardware, operating systems, and connected devices. * Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations for network and systems enhancements. * Conduct technical reviews, testing, and implementation of network infrastructure improvements. * Maintain network communication standards and protocols, including TCP/IP and related technologies. Operations & Administration * Provide day-to-day administration and support of network hardware, operating systems, virtualization platforms, and enterprise services. * Monitor system utilization, performance, and response times to ensure operational efficiency and availability. * Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure, connectivity, and communication issues. * Troubleshoot network components at both the physical and logical layers using network analysis and monitoring tools. * Perform systems management and integration functions across multiple technology platforms. Storage, Backup & Recovery * Design, deploy, maintain, and support enterprise storage and backup solutions. * Evaluate, test, and certify infrastructure components and system dependencies. * Ensure backup and recovery services meet operational and security requirements. * Address interoperability challenges involving storage systems, applications, and supporting infrastructure. * Implement and manage system patching activities to maintain security and compliance standards. Virtualization & Infrastructure * Administer and support virtualized environments and associated technologies. * Participate in infrastructure planning and architecture efforts to support future growth and operational requirements. * Ensure systems remain secure, reliable, and highly available through proactive maintenance and lifecycle management.
