## About the Role

We're looking for a problem solver with strong programming fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value. This role offers hands-on exposure to a wide range of industries, technologies, and real-world business processes., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

 * Experience with Bash, Python, JavaScript, and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
 * Portuguese fluency (professional or native/bilingual)
 * Understanding of ERP systems (CRM, Accounting, Inventory, POS)
 * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 * Ability to collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams

Nice to Have

 * 1-3 years of professional experience (technical support preferred)
 * Experience with Odoo or other ERP platforms
 * Background in SaaS or startup environments
 * Experience working with Unix/Linux systems
 * Additional languages: Spanish, French, or Portuguese
 * A proactive mindset focused on continuous learning and improvement

## Description

Odoo is hiring a Technical Support Engineer to deliver high-quality technical solutions and support for our SMB customers across North America. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges while serving as a trusted advisor to customers and partners., * Own and resolve customer-reported support tickets and bugs for Odoo products

 * Investigate technical issues by identifying root causes, symptoms, and scope
 * Propose and implement short-term fixes and long-term solutions
 * Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to resolve complex challenges
 * Act as a technical advisor to customers and partners
 * Communicate product functionality and value to both technical and non-technical audiences
 * Support SaaS, PaaS, and self-hosted Odoo environments
 * Develop and troubleshoot solutions using Bash, Python, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL
 * Document solutions and contribute to shared knowledge bases
 * Continuously improve processes to enhance customer experience
