## About the Role

* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Integrator, or in a similar role.
 * Strong programming skills in Python.
 * Hands-on experience with Spark and/or Hive.
 * Solid knowledge of SQL.
 * Strong knowledge with AWS Stack (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform,AWS Step Functions) or Azure Stack (Microsoft Azure (AZ-104 and/or DP-203 certification is a strong asset)
 * Experience with AWS cloud data services
 * Experience designing and developing ETL processes and working with data orchestration tools.
 * Experience working with cloud-based Data Warehouse solutions on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
 * Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
 * Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Essential skills:

 * Knowledge of Star Schema and/or Data Vault data modelling.
 * Experience with modern cloud-native data architectures.
 * Relevant cloud certifications.
 * Experience working in enterprise-scale data environments.

## Description

* Design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration and ETL solutions.
 * Build and optimize data pipelines using Python, Spark, Hive, and SQL.
 * Develop cloud-based data solutions on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
 * Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, or ARM Templates.
 * Develop and maintain data orchestration workflows and automation processes.
 * Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
 * Ensure data quality, performance, scalability, and security across data platforms.
 * Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
 * Support the evolution of the client's cloud data platform and architecture.
