* An engineering master's degree in an electronic or microelectronic field
 * More than 7 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and embedded SW development
 * Strong experience in supporting customers
 * Expert knowledge of low level or bare-metal embedded systems
 * Expert knowledge of programming languages like C, Python
 * Good understanding of control theory and the functions of the Integrated Circuit (IC) design at a block level
 * Good understanding of discrete electronics circuits
 * Advanced technical expertise at the application level
 * Effective communication skills in English
 * Willingness to travel frequently (20%)

## Description

As a Senior Application Engineer at Melexis, you have a crucial role to build strong technical expertise on Melexis products, develop new solutions and enable Melexis customers to use them.

More specifically, you will:

 * Be a key technical contact for customers and solve technical problems at the customer site.
 * Technically coach fellow engineers
 * Develop production-level embedded SW for advanced motor control and embedded systems
 * Acquire system knowledge and join the System Architect in the architecture definition specification and validation of innovative hardware and software solutions.
 * Propose novel system solutions that solve customer needs
 * Follow market trends and customers' needs.
 * Author application notes and system documentation.
