You have a genuine grasp of what WordPress site owners and users need from their plugins. * Active in the WordPress community, with existing relationships and visibility among developers, agencies and other ecosystem players. * Proven project management experience, comfortable coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders. * amiliarity with WordPress security and hardening practices is expected, given the group's ownership of a leading WordPress security plugin. * Proficient with AI tools and comfortable using them as part of their daily workflow. ## Description You'll develop, maintain, and follow the other WordPress plugins across team.blue, primarily supporting the group's SaaS products that require a WordPress plugin to integrate their service into a WordPress site. The role defines and executes the group's WordPress product strategy, in close alignment with the Head of Product. The role acts as the bridge between SaaS brands, engineering, design, and commercial stakeholders to ensure WordPress products deliver value to customers and drive cross-sell. Key Responsibilities Really Simple Security Commercial Ownership Help drive RSS's commercial success across the following areas, working closely with the teams that own: * Website strategy and optimization * Content marketing and SEO * Email marketing and lifecycle automation * Pricing and packaging * Affiliate and partner relationships * Customer support performance and customer feedback loops * Event and community evangelism (talks, sponsorships, speaking engagements) Product Ownership Take end-to-end accountability for the plugins in your portfolio, from roadmap to daily prioritization. * Own the product lifecycle for all RSP-managed WordPress plugins, including Really Simple Security and SaaS plugins. * Define and drive execution of post-launch product roadmaps, continuously evaluating future opportunities. * Act as the primary product owner throughout development. * Translate customer needs, business goals and technical constraints into clear product requirements across all plugins we maintain. * Prioritize features and product improvements based on customer feedback, competitive analysis and business impact. Product Delivery Turn strategy into shipped product, keeping engineering, design, and QA moving in the same direction. * Lead the end-to-end plugin development process from discovery through release. * Brief and approve UI/UX designs. * Coordinate development activities and cross-team dependencies across engineering, design, QA and other stakeholders, acting as the project's central point of coordination. * Review and approve release candidates prior to production releases. * Ensure products maintain a high level of quality, usability and reliability. Product Growth & Commercial Performance Make sure great products actually get discovered, adopted and paid for. * Monitor product performance using key commercial and product metrics including downloads, activation, conversion and customer adoption. * Optimize plugin visibility within the wordpress.org ecosystem through listing optimization and marketplace best practices. * Collaborate with SaaS brands and commercial stakeholders to improve adoption and business performance. * Drive cross-selling opportunities between plugins, Extendify, and other products within the team.blue ecosystem. WordPress Product Strategy Shape where WordPress fits into team.blue's broader SaaS strategy: spotting opportunities before they become obvious. * Identify opportunities where WordPress plugins can create commercial or strategic value for SaaS brands. * Build relationships with SaaS business leaders to explore new plugin opportunities and align product roadmaps. * Define product vision, strategy, and positioning for new WordPress plugins. * Recommend appropriate commercial models suited to the WordPress ecosystem. * Identify opportunities for integration with Extendify and other strategic initiatives within team.blue. * Monitor developments within the WordPress ecosystem and identify emerging opportunities, partnerships and potential acquisitions. ## Related Videos - [Kill Your WordPress.
