The role covers secure processing and the refurbishment of IT equipment and is ideal for someone practical, reliable, and keen to develop long-term technical skills in a fast-paced environment. The role involves processing used and new IT assets in line with company procedures. You will refurbish, test, fault-find, repair and configure PCs, laptops, monitors, tablets and mobile phones. Duties also include installing operating systems and basic software, diagnosing hardware and software faults, and working to quality, data security and compliance standards. Full training will be provided across multiple areas of the business as you develop in the role. We are looking for someone who can work effectively in a fast-paced, production-focused environment and who has strong attention to detail and a conscientious approach. You should have a good work ethic, take pride in doing the job properly, and be comfortable working as part of a team. Reliability, organisation, and a willingness to learn and take on new skills are essential. Technical or assembly experience is highly desirable as is experience working with PC or laptop hardware, and previous IT refurbishment, repair, or workshop experience would be an advantage, although not essential for the right candidate.
