You'll enjoy working with a variety of stakeholders, embracing new technologies, and creating solutions that make a genuine impact across the firm., * A degree, apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field. * Microsoft, Google Cloud, software development, integration or automation certifications are a bonus, but they're by no means essential. Technical Skills & Knowledge * Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript, with experience of SQL and cloud-based development. Experience with C#, Java or other programming languages would be an advantage. * A solid understanding of APIs, authentication, web services, data formats and relational databases. * Experience developing internal applications, automations or integrations that support day-to-day business operations. * Familiarity with modern software development practices, including Git/GitHub, testing, code reviews, documentation and deployment. * Experience with integration platforms, automation tools, low-code solutions and cloud technologies. Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure or Terraform would be beneficial but isn't essential. * A good understanding of GDPR, cyber security, secure development, access management and data protection. * The ability to balance rapid innovation with building reliable, scalable solutions that stand the test of time. Connect our systems - Develop secure, reliable integrations between Menzies' platforms and third-party applications using APIs, web services, databases and automation tools to create seamless business processes. Partner with the business - Work closely with teams across the firm to understand challenges, identify opportunities for improvement and deliver practical technology solutions that have a real impact on the way we work. Unlock the power of data and AI - Build intelligent tools that make the most of our Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery and AI capabilities, helping colleagues make better decisions and deliver greater value to clients. * ️ Champion engineering excellence - Develop high-quality, well-tested solutions using modern software engineering practices, including Git/GitHub, code reviews, CI/CD, monitoring and technical documentation.
