We primarily work with finance teams who are tired of mismatched numbers and slow closing processes. Currently, we are supporting a major German automotive and technology group as they reorganize their internal reporting structures. Like every role at our firm, this is a fully remote position. We do not have a physical headquarters and we do not require any travel. You will work from your own environment while collaborating with our senior consultants through digital channels to deliver clean, functional interfaces for complex data sets. In this role Most enterprise software comes with standard reporting tools that are difficult to use or poorly styled. Your primary objective is to take the data output from these systems and present it in a way that makes sense for a finance professional. You will be building and styling web-based reporting templates that prioritize clarity and precision. Unlike a typical creative agency role, the focus here is not on flashy animations or trends. Instead, you will focus on layout consistency, typography for numerical data, and ensuring that our configurations match the client branding perfectly. You will be helping us bridge the gap between back end data configurations and the end user experience. Because we work with fixed-price quotes and high standards for documentation, your work needs to be structured and well-commented. You will be part of a team that believes in setting clients up for long term independence rather than creating a cycle of constant support requests. What you will do * Create and maintain modular CSS frameworks for financial dashboards and internal reporting tools. * Translate draft report layouts into clean, valid HTML and CSS code that renders correctly across different enterprise browsers. * Assist senior consultants in styling components within EPM tools like Oracle or SAP to ensure a professional finish. * Document all code changes and styling choices so that client teams can manage the systems after our handover. * Build consistent UI components that can be reused across different projects to maintain our set standards. * Test reporting layouts with real data sets to ensure that long strings or large numbers do not break the visual interface. * Work with basic JavaScript to handle minor interactivity or data visualization requirements within the reports. * Participate in internal reviews to ensure all work meets our internal checklist for clean data presentation. ## Related Videos - [The Resilience of the World Wide Web](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1281-the-resilience-of-the-world-wide-web) - [How a Small Team Shrank a Microsoft Monorepo by 94%](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1236-how-a-small-team-shrank-a-microsoft-monorepo-by-94) - [Navigating the Corporate Jungle: Life as a Developer in a large Company](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/621-navigating-the-corporate-jungle-life-as-a-developer-in-a-large-company) - [WeAreDevelopers LIVE - 50 years Microsoft, Web Readiness Report, The German Web Community and more](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1320-wearedevelopers-live-50-years-microsoft-web-readiness-report-the-german-web-community-and-more) - [Can SVG be fast?
